Misbourne has always been part of my life.
Growing up in Amersham, the River Misbourne wasn't simply a place on a map — it was part of my family's story.
My nan, V. I. Winsor, captured those memories beautifully in her poem Reflections on the River Misbourne, recalling childhood adventures, family and the peaceful beauty of the river that gave our area its identity.
For me, Misbourne has never just been a business name.
It's a reminder of where I come from, the values my family instilled in me, and the importance of making people feel welcome, cared for and at ease.
Today, I'm proud to continue that legacy through massage and wellbeing, creating a calm space where every client can pause, breathe and leave feeling restored.

The Misbourne name continued through my dad, who built and ran his successful building company, Misbourne Construction Ltd.
Growing up with that example of hard work and entrepreneurship stayed with me, and when I opened my own business in 2011, the name Misbourne Beauty felt completely natural.
For over eleven years, I built a successful beauty business shaped by trust, recommendations and loyal returning clients.
Today, Misbourne Beauty returns with a renewed focus on massage and wellbeing, based within the welcoming wellbeing environment at FitCrowd in Amersham.
It feels like the right place for the next chapter of Misbourne Beauty — a space that shares my belief in helping people feel stronger, supported and better in themselves.
For me, this isn't about starting again.
It's about carrying a familiar name forward, while building something for the future.
